Cancellation Policy 

My goal is to provide quality health care to all my clients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only myself, but my other clients as well. Please be aware of my policy regarding missed appointments.

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on the calendar that is no longer available to other clients. In order to allow another person in need a chance at an appointment, please email or text Maryann RMT as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please email me at If necessary, you may leave me a text message at 613-866-5681. I will remove your appointment from the calendar.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24h hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment for a no-show and 50% missed appointment fee for a late cancelation.


I understand that emergencies and illnesses occur. If you have a fever, have been in the hospital, have been vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, or your children are ill and need you at home, please cancel. Equally, if there is an ice/snow storm, and you prefer not to drive or walk on the ice/ through the snow if you do not have to. Feel free to reach out and reschedule your appointment. There is NO CHARGE for these types of cancellations.
